The trick is that this pattern follows the same slide motion as the master chart, but will require you to lift and re-hold one hand each time. Pay attention to which side you have to lift and which side you don't.
This whole pattern is incredibly overwhelming, so keep practicing so that you can get the motion down without having to consciously think about it. Practicing the motion with your phone screen locked can be helpful.
